Same Flop Twice in a Row - Common Impossibilities With Millions of Hands

One game has just concluded and the flop for the next comes up. Whoa! You get a strange sense of deja vu. The flop is the same as the last flop. These things are supposed to be random. How can it happen twice in a row? Something must be up. Usually, you have some sort of science behind these unusual events voodoo. We’ll look at the spookiest cases and the positive and the downright weird ones.

Unnatural Scenarios

  1. Does a lighter even exist? I have had such experiences many times. Three flushes in a row on the same board.
  2. What will be the seventeenth time this situation occurs?

Even though I have had several draws of the same suit, I am not sure Doyle Brunson is slang for three hundred and fifty cents an employee.

  1. Four of a kind

How can it happen so often? Sometimes I, too, have had four of a kind. It was not that unusual, considering the other four were consecutive. I bought in with $1,000 and now I ownnings in excess of ten grand. Rarely, however, does one come across a quadruple four of a kind. Unless you consider $4,000 a quadruple four of a kind, I think that is quite unlikely.

There was a case recently in Las Vegas involving a gambler who had lost his job, then won it back, then lost it again, and so on. He was certain he would win the next drawing. Everyone else in the casino agreed that it was highly unlikely he would win. They were sure he would come out an equal winner. Doyle Brunson, however, was not one of those people. Brunson was sitting alone at the table. He looked disinterested. Sure enough, he won the next spin and everyone else followed suit.

There are some people, mainly tourists, who stay put and wait for the odd card. If you saw their luck, you would probably think they had it for themselves.

Bearing Odds

Experts say that if you are running a gambling business, the key to its success is always to bet only what you can afford to lose. If you don’t take risk, you will not win. Betting always comes down to odds. The odds are the ratio of the reward you consider you have at risk against the risk you are prepared to take.

The professional gambler is prepared to take risks. But they are astounded and amazed when they discover how easy it is to lose the money they were trying to win.

Samsays Rice, “You’ve got to know when to hold ’em and know when to fold ’em.”

The professional gambler is up against the house at every turn. Sometimes they win and sometimes they lose. But they don’t mind because they are in the business to make a profit.

If they go to a blackjack table, the odds are already in their favor. The dealer has to deal two hands and the player has to beat the dealer. In that particular scenario, the odds are always in the casino’s favor.

The experienced player knows, or can learn to make a profit, when to walk away.

Wagers to avoid

Casino games, no matter what they are called, are always and always subject to house advantage. Realistically, there is no way to win at every roll of the dice. If it was possible, the casino would certainly go out of business.

For a proven method to minimize the house advantage, skip betting any amount less than the table minimum on any particular number, whether it is the come-out roll or the last roll. Betting the minimum lowers the house advantage on a particular number by nearly 9%.

Some also try to beat the house by betting on every occasion. They say, “I’ll bet here, if you bet there, comes a seven.” They bet the table minimum and edge out the house by 0.17%.

“I’ll bet here, if you bet there, deposit 20 bonus 30 slot,” certainly has the house odds in your favor. Betting every time certainly has the odds in your favor, however, if the shooter changes the dice in the middle of a roll, as many experienced players strive to do, there becomes an entirely different set of odds.

If you can learn to place your bets strategically, you can take full advantage of the house advantages. Hopefully, with practice, you can also learn to spot any holes in the house percentage and dependent odds. You can then choose methods to bet on, varying your bet size as the situations arise.

If you are a novice, it is also possible to get a little bit of the fun out of the game by learning a martingale betting method.
